The Big Trees (1952) Jim Fallon (Kirk Douglas), a dodgy and ruthless lumberjack covets the land owned by a religious sect. Will the love of pious Alicia Chadwick (Eve Miller) help Fallon to see the light and mend his money grubbing way? Blue Steel (1934) U.S. marshal John Carruthers (John Wayne) is after the bandit who has taken off with a $4,000 pay roll. As Carruthers soon learns, the crook is actually employed by a supposedly upstanding citizen of the community, who is secretly trying to starve the good people of Yucca City. The Painted Desert (1931) Jeff and Cash find a baby boy in the desert and fight over who is to be the adoptive father. Years later the bitterness remains when they purchase adjacent ranches. Bill, the "adopted" little boy is weary of all the fighting. Will he be able to end the feud? Or will things escalate once he falls in love with the "enemy's" daughter? My Pal Trigger (1946) Seems like Roy (playing himself) wants to breed his mare with a champion stallion, but the stallion's owner (Gabby Hayes) won't agree. After a dastardly businessman (Jack Holt) interferes, the stallion is killed and Roy finds himself being blamed. The Outlaw (1943) When someone tries to ambush Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel), Doc Holiday (Walter Huston) brings him to his ranch to hide out. When Billy meets Doc's mistress Rio (Jane Russell), he's instantly attracted to the beauty. Before you know it, Billy, Doc, and Rio are fighting among themselves as they're being chased through the desert by lawman Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell) and his posse. Sante Fe Trail (1940) In the days leading up to the Civil War, Jeb Stewart (Errol Flynn) finds himself romancing with Kit Carson (Olivia de Havilland) fraternizing with George Custer (Ronald Reagan) and fighting with famous abolitionist John Brown. Daniel Boone (1935) Daniel Boone (George "The Chest" O'Brien), the 18th century frontiersman is struggling to build a home for his family and fellow settlers in the wilds of Kentucky. Things get pretty hectic when Boone and company find themselves fighting for their homes, their food and their lives. |
